I found the sweet peas growing beside my compost bin in the backyard. I thought the initial sketch would be the difficult part but it shaped up quite easily. The difficulty was creating the values (lights and darks.) Since there were so many items in the drawing, many turned out to have the same value, but had different colors so were easily visible in real life. To make these visible with pencil, I had to adjust the values somewhat.
